P.D.F. was convicted of sodomy in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-6-63, Ala.Code 1975. He was sentenced to 99 years’ imprisonment. The victim in this case, T.M., is the appellant’s grandson and he was 6 years old when the incident that is the basis of this charge occurred.
