OPINION OF THE COURT ON SUPPLEMENTAL ASSIGNMENTS OF ERROR

NAUGHTON, Senior Judge:

The court denied a petition for a new trial and affirmed the findings and sentence in this death-penalty case on 15 December 1992.1 United States v. Gray, 37 M.J. 730 (A.C.M.R.1992). That same date, the appellant filed a motion for reconsideration of our decision denying the appellant’s motion to abate the proceedings to ensure that the appellant, as a result of an apparent drug overdose, had suffered no permanent brain damage which would prevent his full participation in assisting with his appeal.
