Craig Lamar Turner (“Appellant”) was charged with robbery in the first degree with a deadly weapon in violation of section 569.020.1 A jury subsequently con*185victed Appellant of the lesser included offense of robbery in the second degree, and the trial court2 sentenced Appellant to ten years in prison.
