OPINION

GOETTEL, District Judge:

Presented is a motion for summary judgment that requires the Court to decide very close issues concerning the scope of an employer’s immunity from suit under the workers’ compensation statutes of New York, Connecticut, and North Carolina. Before those issues can be precisely formu lated, however, the complexity of this case requires a fairly detailed accounting of its underlying facts.

FACTS
