Defendant and Appellant the Terminix International Company L.P. (“Terminix”) appeals from an order of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Avin W. Thompson, Judge), denying its motion to dismiss or in the alternative to stay the litigation and compel arbitration, pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”), 9 U.S.C. § 1 et seq., in light of an arbitration clause contained in a written agreement between the parties for termite control services.
