The Muskegon Lumber Company applied to the Grant circuit court for a decree confirming a purchase of certain lands by it from the state of Arkansas. A part of these lands were claimed and held by the state under a forfeiture in 1872 for the taxes of 1871, and the penalty and costs charged against the same. The lands last referred to are as follows; the E. I of N. E. | of section 35 and the N. E. ¶ of N. W. % and the S. E. \ of the N. W. k of section 36, in township 5 south and range 15 west. Another part of the lands so purchased was held and claimed by the state under a forfeiture in 1886…
