MEMORANDUM OF OPINION

RENFREW, District Judge.

This action concerns the duty of the United States to informants who provide information about criminal activity.

Plaintiff gave agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) information which led to the seizure of approximately one-half ton of marijuana and to the arrest and conviction of Scott Lamkin in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
