SWANSTROM, Judge.

Manuel Perez appeals from the judgment of conviction and sentence of eight years, with five years fixed, for delivery of heroin in violation of I.C. § 37-2732(a)(l)(A). He asserts that his plea of guilty was not knowingly and intelligently made. He also asserts that his sentence was unduly severe for a first time offender. We affirm.
