Plaintiff Ricky Platt (“Platt”), a prisoner proceeding pro se, brings this action against the warden of the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (“PICC”), Warden Brockenborough, Major Gordon, Captain Waterford, Lieutenant Knight, and Corrections Officer Brown (“defendants”) under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for violation of due process under the Fourteenth Amendment and the prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment under the Eighth Amendment.
