This appeal arises from a dispute between a hotel owner and its insurer regarding coverage under an insurance policy as to losses allegedly resulting from Hurricane Ike. The trial court signed an order compelling the hotel owner to participate in an appraisal under the terms of the insurance policy. After issuance of an appraisal award, the hotel owner filed motions in the trial court seeking an order that the insurer pay the hotel owner based upon the appraisal award.
