MENTZ, District Judge.

Before the court is the plaintiffs’ motion for summary judgment. The plaintiffs are current and/or former employees of the City of Slidell (“City”), Louisiana, who serve or served in the classification of Police Lieutenant. The plaintiffs filed suit in state court against the City seeking payment for overtime wages for hours worked in excess of forty hours per week.
