Plaintiff Rick Aleman (“Aleman”) filed suit against the Village of Hanover Park and several officers of the Hanover Park Police Department (“HPPD”) — Detective Todd Carlson (“Carlson”), Detective Eric Villanueva (‘Villanueva”), and Sergeant Carol Lussky (“Lussky”) (together, the “HPPD defendants”).
