The St. John Grain Company of Worthington operated a line of six local public grain warehouses in this state. On August 31, 1923, the appellant National Surety Company issued its bond in the sum of $12,000, conditioned as required by G. S. 1923, § 5071, to remain in effect until August 31, 1924. Whereupon the Minnesota railroad and warehouse commission issued a license to such grain company covering the same period of time.
