This case arises out of a serious injury to Plaintiffs resulting from the drunken driving of Defendant provoking an accident that occurred on the evening of July 25, 1981. Jill Prosch, while walking single file behind her husband, Kevin Prosch, was hit by a careening automobile driven by the Debtor/Defendant, William Craig Wooten. The Prosches were pushing their bicycles on the left-hand sidewalk up the rather steep incline of Pawnee Avenue on the Southside of Birmingham.
