Hanna v. Bauguess

The appellants-lessees of real property improved by a furniture store sought specific performance by the appellee-lessor of an option in the lease which gave the lessees the right to purchase at the expiration of the fifth year. The option provided for a purchase price "arrived at by three independent realty appraisors [sic].” Finding uncertainty with respect to the determination of the price and the method of selection of the appraisers, the chancellor denied specific performance.
