The appeal in this case was taken from a decree passed by Circuit Court No. 2, of Baltimore City. The decree directs the specific performance of an alleged contract for the sale of land. The bill of complaint was filed by the appellees, who are the vendors. The defendants, who are the vendees and appellants, answered. To several paragraphs of this answer the appellees excepted. These exceptions were sustained and leave was given to answer further.
