—In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Alpert, J.), entered June 8, 2001, which denied its motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, with costs, the motion is granted, and the complaint is dismissed.
The plaintiff slipped and fell while approaching the customer service counter in the defendant’s store. The plaintiff alleged that she slipped and fell “as a result of a greasy oily substance which appeared to have been somewhat dried at the time.”…
