COYNE, Justice.
Richard Miller appeals from the amended judgment and decree of the Hennepin County District Court dividing the marital property and from the order denying his motion for a new trial. We affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand.
Richard and Tanya Miller were married on February 9, 1960, when Richard was 18 years old and Tanya was age 17. Neither party owned any property at the time of their marriage, but during the course of their traditional marriage, they amassed holdings of very substantial value, all titled in Richard’s name alone.
