This action was commenced to recover damages for the wrongful death of Roy E. Hardesty, who was killed when his automobile went off a bridge owned and maintained by the defendant. The action was tried to the court, which entered a judgment of dismissal at the conclusion of the trial, finding that, if the county had been negligent, there was no evidence that such negligence was the proximate cause of the death, and that the decedent had been guilty of contributory negligence.
