OPINION

MILLER, Presiding Judge.

¶ 1 Joseph Romero was convicted after a jury trial of second-degree murder and sentenced to a presumptive term of sixteen years. Romero argues the trial court erred when it denied his motion to dismiss the indictment due to pre-indictment delay, denied his motion to preclude testimony from the state’s firearms expert, and granted the state’s motion to preclude testimony from his proffered expert on firearms examination methodology.
