This appeal arises from a suit to discover assets instituted by Betty Mitchell Wilson (petitioner) as administratrix of the estate of her deceased husband Frank W. Mitchell, Sr., (decedent). Petitioner initiated her action in the Probate Court of St. Louis County by filing an affidavit 1 in which, she stated that 19 shares of stock in the St. Louis Argus Publishing Company were unlawfully withheld from the estate by Eugene N.
