The Plaintiff filed suit against the Defendant for breach of contract on a flood insurance policy four years after Defendant rejected Plaintiffs property damage claim. The Defendant argues that the Plaintiffs claim is barred by a one-year statute of limitations, which applies to all standard flood insurance policies.
