On July 1, 1967, defendant Eugene Graham was found guilty by a jury in the Recorder’s Court for the City of Detroit of the felony of robbery armed, MCLA § 750.529 (Stat Ann 1970 Cum Supp § 28.797). Defendant was sentenced on July 16, 1967, to a prison term of from 15 to 30 years. A motion for new trial was made on July 31, 1967; the motion was denied on January 23, 1968. Defendant has taken this appeal and raises a single issue for determination by this Court, vis:
