This is an appeal by Michelle L. McCracken (hereinafter “Appellant”) from her conviction in the Circuit Court of Marshall County of three counts of first degree murder with the recommendation of mercy. The Appellant contends that the lower court erred in permitting a demonstration of the combustibility of gasoline by the State’s expert; in admitting the Appellant’s pre-trial statements made to police officers; in allowing the State to recite a child’s prayer in closing argument; and in denying the Appellant’s motions for judgment of acquittal…
