The sole issue in this workers’ compensation action is whether the employee’s claim for benefits is barred by the statute of limitations. The employee was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome, a gradually occurring injury. He notified his employer of this diagnosis and told his employer that he thought it was work-related, although he did not discuss the work-related nature of his injury with his doctor until about a year later.
