OPINION

CEDARBAUM, District Judge.

This is a class action under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, 29 U.S.C. § 2101 (the “WARN Act”) by employees of the former law firm Lord Day & Lord, Barrett Smith. Plaintiffs claim that Lord Day violated the WARN Act by closing its offices without giving notice to its employees sixty days in advance as required by the statute. Lord Day’s late notice merely recited the language of one of the statutory exceptions to explain the failure to give sixty-days’ notice.
