LIPEZ, Justice.

[¶ 1] Milton Thompson appeals from the judgments entered in the Superior Court (Cumberland County, Fritzsche, J.) pursuant to the jury verdict finding him guilty of two counts of gross sexual misconduct (Class A), 17-A M.R.S.A. § 258 (Supp.1996), two counts of gross sexual assault (Class B), 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253(2)(H) (Supp.1996), and one count of unlawful sexual contact (Class C), 17-A M.R.SA. § 255(1)(C) (Supp.1996).
