Appellee g. R. Hemphill sued appellant, Exporters’ & Traders’ Compress & Warehouse Company, a corporation, for the sum of $1,420 damages, which he alleged was the value of 19 bales of cotton delivered by him to appellant, which cotton appellant failed and refused to redeliver to him on demand.
