|2The ^defendant, Jason M. Lutz, was charged by grand jury indictment with second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1, and pled not guilty. After a bench trial, he was found guilty as charged.1 The trial court denied the defendant’s motion for postverdict judgment of acquittal. The defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
