|) Lavester Gilmore was charged by bill of information with distribution of an imitation or counterfeit substance which is represented to be a controlled dangerous substance. See La. R.S. 40:964, Schedule II A(4), and 40:971.1 A. He appeals his conviction for attempted distribution of such a substance. See La. R.S. 14:27 and La.C.Cr.P. art. 814 A(54). He assigns two errors: the first concerning the legality of the verdict returned by the jury and the second claiming the evidence is legally insufficient for the conviction.
