Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Rensselaer County (McGrath, J.), rendered August 13, 2002, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of stalking in the second degree and criminal contempt in the second degree (nine counts).

As the result of repeated unwanted contact between defendant and the victim, defendant was indicted and charged with the crimes of stalking in the second degree, criminal contempt in the first degree and eight counts of criminal contempt in the second degree.
