BROWN, Justice.

Appellee insurance company was plaintiff and appellants were defendants in a declaratory judgment action concerning a dispute over insurance coverage. The trial court granted a directed verdict for appellee on the issues of waiver and estoppel. The jury returned a general verdict for appellants, and returned answers to special interrogatories. The trial court granted a judgment notwithstanding the verdict (JNOV) to ap-pellee, because one of the special interrogatories answered by the jury was inconsistent with the general verdict.
