Cornhusker Casualty Company (“Corn-husker”) appeals from the district court’s summary-judgment ruling, arguing that the district court incorrectly concluded that Cornhusker was estopped from asserting noncoverage as a defense to the claims of Shari and Steve Skaj. The Skajs have cross-appealed the district court’s sua sponte entry of summary judgment against them on their counterclaim for attorneys’ fees.
