This appeal arises from the 2007 failure of Grandfather Vistas, a real estate development located in Caldwell County. In 2006, approximately 1,000 acres of land in Caldwell County was purchased for $10.9 million, which Defendants Infinity Partners, LLC; Infinity Real Estate Partners, LLC; Source One Communities LLC; Prudential Source One, LLC; and Peerless Real Estate Services, Inc., 3 planned to develop.
