HATCHETT, Circuit Judge:

In this appeal, we affirm the appellant’s conviction because even if the prosecutor made improper argument to the jury, the error was harmless.

I. FACTS

In early January, 1985, Richard Caride, a policeman for the city of Hialeah, Florida, told his fellow police officer and good friend Carlos Simon, the appellant in this case, that he had engaged in a home invasion robbery with Luis Perez.
