A jury found the appellant, Kelvin Ray Gray, guilty of murder, and assessed his punishment at fifteen years’ confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. The appellant brings two points on appeal. In his first point, he contends that the court erred in not granting his motion for new trial. In point two, he contends the court erred in overruling his objection to certain portions of the State’s closing argument at the guilt/innocence phase of his trial.
