By this action, plaintiffs, husband and wife, sought to recover from the defendant an alleged balance due upon the purchase price of a half interest in certain motor equipment, with a certificate of public convenience and necessity, owned by them and used in the operation of a transportation line between Chehalis and Morton, in Lewis county. The complaint alleged an oral agreement by the defendant to purchase from the plaintiffs the half interest in the business for ten thousand dollars, $4,816.55 of which had been paid in cash by the defendant, and that there was due and owing from her to…
