Respondent, T.A.B., appeals from an order of the circuit court of Du Page County adjudicating him a delinquent minor. On appeal, respondent makes the following contentions: (1) that the State failed to present sufficient evidence to establish the requisite mental state for the offense of criminal damage to property; (2) that the State failed to prove beyond a reasonable donbt that respondent violated section 4— 103(a) of the Illinois Vehicle Code (Code) (Ill.
