This is an appeal of a take-nothing summary judgment rendered in favor of defen*53dant/appeüee, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., against plaintiff/appellant, Patrick Mayes, in his personal injury suit against Goodyear and co-defendant Corte Adams, one of Goodyear’s employees. The trial court granted Goodyear’s motion for summary judgment on the causes of action for vicarious liability and negligent entrustment, then severed the cause from the suit against Adams.
