Juan Damian Delgado (appellant) appeals from a judgment of the Circuit Court of Arlington County (trial court) which approved a jury verdict convicting him for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. The sole issue presented by this appeal is whether the trial court erred in denying appellant’s pretrial motion to dismiss the indictment for violation of the Interstate Agreement on Detainers (IAD), Code § 53.1-210 to 53.1-215.
