Plaintiff appeals from the trial court’s allowance of defendant’s motion for judgment consistent with the answer to a special interrogatory submitted to the jury. Plaintiff, Lori Zygadlo, by her mother and next friend Rose Zygadlo, filed this action in the circuit court of Cook County seeking damages for injuries sustained while riding her bicycle as a result of being struck by an automobile driven by defendant, Martin McCarthy, Jr. At the close of all the evidence, the court reserved its decision on plaintiff’s motion for a…
