Plaintiffs are four of the children of the defendant, John Karcher, and his deceased wife, Mrs. Armantine Huber. The other defendant is Bernard J. Karcher, brother of plaintiffs. Another child, Gammille Sidney Karcher, died intestate, leaving plaintiffs and defendants as his heirs. Plaintiffs allege that their deceased mother left a certain piece of property in the city of New Orleans, which was her separate and paraphernal property, and which was acquired by her by donation from Adam Scheondof, by act before M.
