DECISION AND ORDER
VICTOR MARRERO, District Judge.
Petitioner Victor Manuel Adan Carrasco (“Carrasco”) brought this pro se motion pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (“§ 2255”) to vacate, set aside, or otherwise correct his sentence. Carrasco is serving a sentence of 264 months for conspiracies to import and distribute cocaine. Carrasco contends that his sentence must be vacated because he was denied his Sixth Amendment right to effective assistance of counsel. For the reasons discussed below, Carrasco’s petition is DENIED.
