Appellees on July 19, 1924, filed this action against appellant, a nonresident of Indiana, on a promissory note which became due October 29, 1917. The copy of the note, set out as an exhibit to the com plaint, is dated October 29, 1915, but no place of date nor place of payment is named therein.
