This is a suit for the specific performance of a contract for the sale of real estate. Louis J. Hansen, who was the owner of a tract of thirty-five acres of land near the city of Williamsburg, gave to the appellees, E. P. Jackson and H. P. Hammond, on February 28, 1916, an option to purchase this land, within three months, at the price of $4,250, of which the sum of $50 was paid in cash, and for the residue of which credits were extended.
