The Public Administrator of the County of New York initiated this discovery proceeding against the Guaranty Trust Company of New York (hereinafter referred to as the trust company), for the purpose of directing it to deliver certain securities and moneys on deposit in the sum of $45,580.25, upon the ground that such properties were owned by the decedent and deliverable and payable to the petitioner as the legal representative of Ms estate.
