Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit
1Opinion of the Court
WINTER, Circuit Judge:
Volkswagenwerk Aktiengesellsehaft (“VW”) et at. appeal from Judge Costantino’s granting of Beech Aircraft Corporation’s (“Beech”) motion to dismiss for lack of in personam jurisdiction in this diversity case.1 The district court determined that Beech was not “doing business” in New York and thus not subject to in personam jurisdiction. Because we find that Beech was doing business in New York through a wholly owned local subsidiary, we reverse.
