There are three appeals in this case, each by different persons, but they are from the same order, and involve the same questions. We shall consider them as one appeal.
The first question arising on the appeal depends for its decision upon a proper construction of the following clause of the will of Milcah Goodwin, Avho died in the year 1829. The testatrix gave unto her son, “ Caleb D. Goodwin, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars in trust, to put. out the same at interest, or invest the same in ground rents or stock, or other funds, as he shall see fit, and the interest and dividends arising…
