OPINION AND ORDER ADOPTING REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION

CURRIE, District Judge.

This matter is before the court on Plaintiffs pro se complaint arising out of his incarceration at the Federal Correctional Institution in Edgefield, South Carolina (“FCI-Edgefield”). While not so limited, his claims relate primarily to his confinement in the Special Housing Unit (“SHU”) from August 31, 2001 through September 4, 2001, and again from September 11, 2001 until his transfer to FCI-Florence in August 2002. FCI-Florence is located in Colorado. 1
