Plaintiff-Appellant Justin Lee appeals from the district court’s order granting Defendant-Appellee Caterpillar, Inc.’s motion for judgment on the pleadings in Lee’s state-law action arising out of the termination of Lee’s employment by one of Caterpillar’s contractors, Supply Chain Services International, Inc. (“SCSI”). In his complaint, Lee alleged that Caterpillar caused SCSI to terminate Lee’s employment when Caterpillar falsely reported to SCSI that Lee had been involved in an altercation at Caterpillar’s assembly plant in Griffin, Georgia.
